JHL has a lot of information in the journal itself.  I don't have my copy with me, as I'm awaiting the birth of another grandbaby - but I know it's in every edition of the journal.

In addition, there are sessions in every conference on this topic - look at this years' ILCA Conference sessions!  I didn't look, but you probably can also purchase previous years' sessions given by Jane or her assistants...
 
I know Kay Hoover also gave a session on how she got published - and others have published letters, experiences, comments - Jane and her staff are VERY approachable and try to help!
