It would seem to me that education and information about shaken baby and how
to avoid reaching that point, as well as education on meeting baby's needs
in general, would be more pertinent and effective than this PURPLE
nonsense.

Perhaps that's harsh, but this seems to be a pretty harmful concept to be
teaching parents when there are *far* better techniques and coping skills we
could offer.
