I am looking for a breastfeeding friendly doctor in the Outer Banks of NC, I
have a friend there who is having recurrent mastitis and her OB is being no
help, she has been seen in urgent care twice and been on 4 antibiotics, and
she is still not better.

 

She was first put on cephalexin, then Azithromycin (z pack)continued to take
the cephalexin the whole directed time. 

 

She thought it cleared and then it came back a few days later , they put her
on z pack again and after 48 hours of no improvement they put her on duricef
and she is taking them both now.

 

Any help is appreciated, thanks!  Cindy
