This kind of threw me for a loop. You are specifically referring to teaching formula feeding, right? Because in the classes I teach, the majority of families want to feed expressed breast milk at least occasionally, if not for work. It's ok to teach paced bottle feeding of EBM, "Gentling the Breastfed Baby to the Bottle" way, right? because I'd way rather teach folks how to bottle feed human milk appropriately! Then the question comes up about "which bottles" and I get stumped and then I say "the gals at Children's Hospital specifically recommend Dr. Brown's with preemie nipples, but you won't know until you meet your baby which bottle they will prefer, and, you don't ever have to use a bottle, you can use a spoon, cup, syringe, or eyedropper" which is met with a blank stare.
