Donna,  we had a wonderful speaker here in the Chicago area lecture on wet
nursing.   I can give you her name and number or tell you what I recall
from the lecture (that is dangerous with a half of brain) and/or pull up my
outlines/handouts.  It was neat to hear what all Chicago hospitals were
involved, many years ago with wet nurses.  She goes back to all the history
of wet nursing.
