Why wouldn't clarithromycin be okay?  And if there is a question why use it?
Erythromycin is just as good for almost everything and so is azithromycin.
Why do physicians prescribe drugs that they feel are not okay for
breastfeeding?  Find an alternative if there is an issue.  But there isn't
with this one.
