Hello Everyone,
In November we started a Kangaroo care program with grant money hoping
to show that KC increased both the initiation and the duration of
breastfeeding among our patients. We are struggling a bit and wondered if a
scheduled "Quiet Time" for our mothers would encourage them to do more
Kangaroo care while resting and focusing on their babies.
Has anyone tried a quiet time for post partum moms and babies ? How did
you do it ? Was it difficult to enforce ? Were you able to still be "family
friendly" ? How well did the other departments cooperate ( Docs,
lab,dietary,etc.) ?
I would appreciate any information you could share. Please reply to me
privately [log in to unmask] Thank you !
