Diane's reminder re: Ros Escott's post on the three sucklings also
agrees with a recent article published in Pediatrics.  In a
breastfeeding friendly environment in Italy, only breastfed infants who
had difficulty breastfeeding became jaundiced.  Those who breastfed well
and often did not.  The researchers concluded that not all breastfeeding
infants become jaundiced, just those with breastfeeding problems.
