As you can see, I'm a million miles behind on reading posts here.

I feel compelled to say that the Walmart article was copied several
times on Lactnet, not to mention the number of times it was copied to
me in private e-mail from various well-intentioned breastfeeding
advocates.

This is a copyrighted article. The Washington Post owns the
copyright. Please understand that some reporter makes his/her living
writing articles, and the Post makes its profit by publishing such
articles. There's a word for it when you re-copy copyrighted
materials. It's called stealing.

It amazes me how we are often quick to point out violations of the
WHO code, but less likely to point it violations of copyright law.
Please, next time, just stick the url in your post, and we can all go
there and read it for ourselves.
