On behalf of one of my colleagues;

Dear colleagues,

We are looking to purchase a new breastmilk scanning system for use in our hospital nurseries. Our priority is a system that will ensure the correct breastmilk is given to the correct infant thereby decreasing the risk of error. If you have been working with a system in your institition and are happy with it please share your experience.

We would want to be able to scan the breast milk initially when the mother brings it to the unit and again before it is given to the infant. It would be ideal if the system was able to keep track of the number of bottles received from the mother, the number removed from her storage bin and then the current number of bottles available to the infant on an ongoing basis.

If you know of any systems that offer this please share your experience. Thank you for your feedback.
