Freezing does not kill off yeast in human milk. Breastfeeding Atlas 2nd ed
at p. 58, citing Rosa, C. et al., Yeasts from human milk collected in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil, Rev. Microbiol 1990; 21(4):361-363.

For moms babes that are susceptible to yeast outbreaks, the frozen milk
*might* be the cause. Id.

I suggest to moms that they label milk that has been pumped during a yeast
outbreak. Later on, when mom and baby are outbreak-free, she can try using
the milk (as their healthy bodies should be able to withstand the extra
serving of yeasties).

If the family has had only one or two yeast bouts, this will seem like a
good plan. For the families that are haunted by persistent outbreaks, this
will seem stupid. Let Mom decide.
