I've received some *wonderful* stories from LCs about what caused them to
pursue this field. All of them cited their personal experiences, good and
bad, with infant feeding.

Are there *any* of you who are childless, or who found such a powerful role
model in a nurse or doctor helping mothers breastfeed, that you were drawn
to the profession by something other than your own strong feelings about
your own experiences?

I'd really like to know, because in most other professions, a strong
*objective* interest can be all it takes. I haven't seen evidence of that
in ours.
