Hi all,

PTP

Question about meds for vasospasms. Client took nifedipine during
pregnancy for a reason I for the life of me cannot recall. :/ She had
negative side effects of racing heart off and on throughout the day and
being very light-headed an hour or so after taking it. SHe is having
severe vasospasms due to nipple trauma from baby (now 7 months old with
complicated issues that are being consistently worked on). She wants to
consider taking something to help the vasospasms but is very reluctant to go
onto Nifedipine again. Alternatives are Nimodepine and Verapamil. Does
anyone have any thoughts on side effects and/or the effectiveness of these
alternatives? Thank you!
