I was interested to read of Linda Rosetti's concerns regarding the mother on
Flagyl.  When we have mums on Flagyl here in Australia (at least all the
hospitals I've worked in) we don't stop breastfeeding.  I have enquired
about this and have been told that there are no documented problems for the
baby, the only problem being that the milk may have a metallic taste which
the babies don't like.  I've seen it used quite alot and haven't had
problems with the baby feeding.
I'd be interested to hear from any pharmacists on this.
