Do you wise lactnetters have any suggestions for mothers nursing twins when
there is an oversupply problem? Usual interventions of sticking to one
side for several hours are obviously a bit difficult to follow in this
situation.

Problem with one mother developed, initially, I believe, when she was
pumping enthusiastically for her preemie twins. C-section birth was 2/17/97
at 34 weeks' gestation. Now both babies are home, fully breastfed, and
mother is no longer pumping at all for past month. She has continued to
have an abundant milk supply. Babies are growing nicely. Very gassy, want
to nurse every 1 1/2 hour
for past 2 weeks. Stools are not green or loose, and in fact, one of the
babies has stool only every 6 days or so. Positioning and latch-on are
good. Usually nurses in "football" (clutch) hold using nursing pillow.
