Hello,

I am a hospital based I.B.C.L.C at a community hospital(700 deliveries/
year) with 25 years experience. I am interested to know how other
hospitals are offering supplements to there infants. We use cup feeding,
fingerfeeding, gavage and of course the usual Ross nipple. Our patient
population is changing to care for infants as early as 34-35 weeks
gestation. I am getting more and more opposition to the alternative
methods with more and more bottles being given.
Please help!

You can email me at [log in to unmask]

Thanks So Much

P.S. 80-85% of our moms breastfeed
