I got my contact hours as a La Leche League Leader. That gave me great counseling experience as well as the eductional opportunities at the LLLI Conferences and Leader Development workshops.
I also train Peer Counselors and Peer Counseor Program
Coordinators and several of them have gone on to become IBCLC's.
