Hello, Kim.
I am assuming from your post that she works to manufacture them, or is
in some other way handling them daily. Does she wear protection against skin
or inhalation absorption? (gloves, long sleeves, mask) If so, I should not
think there would be a lot of danger to her or her baby. If she does not wear
these protections, there might be more than danger to her breastfeeding baby
going on here. If the drugs were absorbable through skin or inhalation and
there was no protection, I should think OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health
Administration, in USA) should be involved, because there would seem to be
dangers with chemotherapy drugs, whether or not you have cancer. They are potent
antimetabolites, and do not just attack cancer cells.
