Mother's DO pass some Vit D in their milk - just not enough, even with
mega-supplementation.  Babies and children may not get enough sunlight with
the current (Derm-driven) sunlight avoidance recommendations. I am not a
nutritionist nor a biochemist.  I do not believe the AAP overlooked any of
the science.  It is much more complicated than measuring the wrong thing. I
am just trying to explain the AAP rationale behind their recommendations.  I
will shut up about it noiw.
