generic: warfarin....very small and insignificant amounts secreted into milk
but depends to some degree on dose administered.highly protien bound in
mother. .maternal warfarin apparently poses little risk to nursing infant and
thuis far has not produced bleeding anomalies in breastfed infants.
compatable with nursing but use with caution. other anticoagulants, such as
phenidione, should be avoided. observe infant for bleeding,  such as
excessive bruisingor reddish petechia. aap compatible with bf./
