Hello All,

Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Dallas / Ft Worth area who is familiar
with type 3 tongue-tie and who accepts medicaid?

I have a mom attending my breastfeeding support group who has an infant, now
almost 6 weeks old, with a type 3 tongue-tie.  This dyad is on medicaid and
mom is having a very hard time finding a doctor who takes medicaid who is
familiar with this issue.  Every doctor she has called has either told her
it is not an issue or that it will require surgery under general anesthesia
and "probably won't help".  The ENT that I usually refer moms to does not
accept medicaid.

Baby is gaining weight well but mom is in considerable pain with every
feeding.  She is also under significant pressure from her family to "just
give the baby a bottle."  Fortunately, mom is very strong-willed and
determined to make this work, despite lack of family support.

Any information would be appreciated.
