gail, think about this. what are the ingredients of human milk? there is one
variable, which is the subtle flavor (and also particles?) of various foods
in mom's diet. we know milk can be orange or green or whatever, and the human
milk changes always in response to changing ingredients, so i feel it must
obviously be the case that some stains and some doesn't, depending on
variables we can't or maybe shouldn't worry about. based on years of nursing
various children, i do recall that sometimes it would stain and more often,
not. why? maybe just the infinitely beautiful personal variations in milk.

of course formula stains. reveals it bad nature in its annoyance factors.
