What I think is that early use of tylenol (acetaminophen) may
possibly predispose babies to have problems with it later.  I get the
impression that allergy to it is relatively rare.  However, if you
are allergic, it is a challenge to live with because acetaminophen is
in so many OTC and Rx medications.  Diligent label-reading and
double-checking of prescriptions is required.

(My husband is allergic to acetaminophen & says so at every HCP
visit, yet has had it prescribed to him, in the form of Vicodin, more
than once.)
