No, no, no.  Mostly people take too little, because they do what it says on the bottle.

I read the abstract of that study.

1) The test subjects were rats with artificially induced hyperthyroid.
2) It was testing the combination of trigonella (fenugreek) and allium.
3) The dosage of trigonella was 200mg/kg body weight.

Assuming all this translates directly to women, that would be a dosage of 10800mg for a 120 lb. woman - about double the usual recommended dosage.

Other sources (such as Hale, MMM 2008) do not mention thyroid issues.

I'm am continuing to research this, but wanted to know if you or anyone on this list has heard of any cases of problems in human women taking the recommended dosage.
