Have to agree with Kathy D about injectable Imitrex; I tried it, only once,
felt like I might be going to die at any minute (although the migraine did
go away pretty quickly!), and was never able to inject myself with it again.
It felt like  train was rushing up from my chest, up through my neck and the
base of my spine, and around my brain. Pharmacist told me it was normal. I
can take the oral version just fine, no such sensations.

I know others don't necessarily respond the same way, and believe me, I know
what a migraine can do to you! But no one responsible for the care of a baby
should use this, at least without another responsible adult present. And if
there IS such a  person present, the migraineur might be better off to hand
the baby over, go lie down in a dark room, take oral imitrex, and wait the
20 minutes or so till it starts to kick in. Sure beats the old days of
days-long agony!
