Please see page 214, next to last paragraph, of the LLL "Breastfeeding
Answer Book" (1997) for more on this.  This is MY site info that the mother
is referring to. This is my interpretation of the info given in the answer
book. I, too, had always thought as you did (cool before combining amounts)
until I read this material.  And it does still specify cooling before adding
to frozen milk. Please let me know if you "see" it differently based on the
info given in the source.
