I am going to be very very unscientific here but I would like to say that
infants are much smarter than we think. I honestly think that some infants
will "naturally" avoid some foods that they are allergic too because they
"know" it makes them feel bad. I tell my parents all the time that they
should ignore the free advice to feed solids to their 6 week old breastfed
infant and instead follow the babies lead! The baby will lead them nicely if
they would only "listen" to their infant! Why are parents in such a rush to
"feed" their infants? What is the rush?
