Ro:  I understand your frustration.  One of the avenues to explore might
be prenatal education, in the hopes of having mothers demand (request?)
no unnecessary supplements and use of alternative feeding methods.  The
education of the nursing staff may be speeded along if a few mothers
complain about the "dark ages" practices going on at your hospital.  Good
