Beth:

   there are more than a handful of non-rn ibclc's and it has long been the
intension of those of us who are not rn to insure that rn is not an ibclc
requirement.

    there are hospital lc's ( ibclc) who are not rn's... it can and does
happen. there are private practice lc's ( ibclc) who are not rn's.

     if this is what you want... go for it and know that youa re not alone.
