Hi,

Thanks for all your input on green breastmilk. I just spoke to the ped and she told me this: after speaking with me, she took a sample of the milk
to the hospital lab. She showed it to the technitian, who asked her what she wanted to look for in the milk. She said she didnīt really know, and
explained to the technician what I had told her about "rusty pipes". His face lit up and he said: "doctor, I had never seen breastmilk before, but I
have cleaned out quite a few pipes and this is what this stuff looks like".

Apparently this eased the pedīs fears more than I had done and she went to tell the mother all about flushing pipes and to go ahead and nurse
her baby.

So Iīm happily off to bed knowing the baby will get his milk... thanks to a funny lab tech (although I have to remember to go show him some
"normal" colored breastmilk to pull him out of his lack of knowledge)
