Arly says,

<<I agree that the reverse syringe is a nervous-making tool>>

Why, Arly? I'm really curious. I've used it since 1993 when the article in
the JHL came out, and have had no adverse effects w/ it -- probably because
*I* don't use it, but have the mom use it on herself so that she knows how
much pressure she can tolerate. If I tell her -- just pulling, no pain -- that
resonates w/ her.

I've spoken w/ an attorney about the alleged "use of an appliance for which
it was not intended" and she basically said there is no precedence legally or
otherwise for that. What you have done is voided the warranty on the
syringe itself, and you can't sue the manufacturer because you are no longer able
to use it as a syringe.

We have evidence in the JHL study that it works. If we are talking evidence
based medicine, then lets see the evidence that it is illegal to use this
device.
