I'm sorry, I missed the beginning of this thread.  Are we talking about
babies past the newborn period?  Is there research that shows infrequent
stooling (without other symptoms of disease) is unhealthy in exclusively
breastfed babies after two or three months?  Is this a "gut" feeling or is
there evidence?  Remember that there is very little waste in breastmilk.
Weekly stooling in exclusively breastfed three-to-six month old babies is
so very common that I don't see a reason to assume it isn't normal as long
as the baby is otherwise healthy and gaining well.
