From Dee Keith IBCLC, LLLL,
A few weeks ago a article appeared in the Cincinnati Enquirer about a
minister husband and wife who were so thankful to the EZZO method for really
turning their disorganized unhappy lives around and making their children so
much more manageable and well behaved. Information on how to sign up for the
classes that they now taught was included with photos of the couple. No
mention of infants. But what struck me was how much this sounded like a cult.
The EZZO's are ignoring basic facts about infant needs. And clamming they are
instructed by God to do so. They couple in the paper offer a get acquainted
meeting to prospective couples, to screen out those unsuitable? Then this is
followed by 17 weeks of weekly classes. Sounds odd to me. Then looking at the
families, who seem unable to change even when evidence shows that their
children are not doing well. And this is under the auspicious look of
religious guidance. Does this bring to mind any other crazies?
