Wonderful lactnetters!
Can anyone recommend an excellent pediatric GI doctor in NYC (pref Brooklyn or Manhattan)? 
1 mo baby has severe discomfort and grunting with a lot of gas, hard time passing BM. Mom is EBF, no dairy or soy or other distressing foods. Per Mom she was kept in the NICU for 14(!!) days for "low sugar"(40's and 50's), had some sort of abdominal surgery for adhesions, and was readmitted once for projectile vomiting. Mother does not understand fully although she did say that she tried to get explanations but the Ped surgeon was unclear. They refused to involve Pediatric GI. 
She came to me last week because the baby is so miserable and we corrected latch, I recommended laid back bf, pumping before feedings. She is very on top of it and has been following instructions but it's still pretty bad. I recommended she get her records and go see a specialist for another opinion. Any recommendations that I can give her? Any other ideas for me?
