Didn't notice this link having been posted during the past few days.

This article suggests that babies gained better when fed from both
breasts for 10 min each feeding vs. baby-led breastfeeding.

http://www.reuters.com/article/healthNews/idUSCOL76257620080417?sp=true

"The traditional recommendations have been largely replaced by
"baby-led" breast-feeding which advises letting infants feed for an
unlimited time from the first breast and that both breasts need not be
used at each feeding, Dr. C. Anne Walshaw and colleagues note."

Well, I personally don't quite agree that the above is the definition
of "baby-led breastfeeding". It might work for some, but not for
everyone, and even the same baby may want to change his/her 'routine'
during a one single day, from being happy with one breast only to
needing 'three' or 'four' breasts at a feeding.
