Lately I've had several moms believe that distracted nursing phases in
babies under 1 year of age must mean that their baby is self-weaning.
They take this seemingly disinterested-in-nursing behavior to mean
weaning. Does anyone have a clever way to describe to moms that baby
is really still interested in nursing and typically wouldn't be
weaning this early? Some of these moms aren't nursing at night so
baby's opportunity to nurse is during the day. Thanks for any ideas
you all have.
