Nancy, thank you for your post from your scientist friend.  In my effort to
understand the vocabulary I did see what the concern is, but with actual
usage in humans over a number of years, even with extended use as a
galactogogue, I accept Dr. Hale's summary and the AAp's classification.

I also feel that Dr. Christina Smillie's letter covered our concerns about
its use as a galactogogue.  I do hope that the issue is resolved without
our losing this useful drug that physicians in the Milwaukee area are
comfortable with for healthy breastfeeding mothers and babies.
