Sue, the symptoms you described are exactly what you see in baby girls
with mild CAH (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia). This is an endocrine
disorder with significant health ramifications and I hope the mom will
get an endo consult asap. I'll give you a web site on this condition so

In particular, look at the section titled "too much androgen" It talks
about non treated CAH in baby girls and continued clitoral enlargement
(begins to look like a penis) and other genital abnormalities. In some
girls the perineum is sealed completely and with the clitoral
enlargement some are thought to be males until they are 3-4 years of
age.
