Has anyone had any experience with a reconstructed nipple, (unilateral plastic surgery) as a result of being burnt as a teen?
The mom is due to give birth on Sunday, Both breasts have increased in size during pregnancy, although the reconstructed nipple side has increased less than the normal one.
I would imagine that engorgement could take place, and have referred her to speak to the surgeon who might be able to shed light on what to expect as a result of his surgery.. If she fills full, I recommended the cabbage leaves on that side. But I guess we can't know til she gives birth and thereafter.
Any englightenment from your own experiences?
thanks.
