I was hoping not to have to carry some other contraption to work with me and
that there was some way to sterilize parts without the "sterilizer" per se.
This also would be a great help to NICU moms who are stying in hotels near
the hospital! Ah well, maybe when my little one is weaned I will do some
testing of this and see what happens

Hmmm.  Well my parts are all Medela.  Maybe it depends on the wattage of the
microwave?
