Can ABM companies DO this? Offer coupons for $ off pumps/equipment without
the okay of the pump/equipment companies? That would mean that any
pump/equipment company would technically be receiving money from ABM
companies. Wouldn't it? Would pump/equipment companies be obligated to
honor the ABM company coupons??? What would the consumer say if they didn't
honor the coupons? Surely they can't do this. It would be like me offering
a coupon to someone for $ off a cereal product or restaurant meal or whatever
without that company knowing it. They wouldn't be obligated to honor my
coupon.

The rebate issue is also controversial--it's a way for the ABM companies to
be seen in the consumer's eyes as supporting breastfeeding. The mother would
get help and info from LC or pump company depot, then get money back from an
ABM co (probably along with logo cuties and cents off coupons for the ABM co.
product). This sounds like tabacco co. smoking cessation program or program
to prevent underage smoking/drinking from the companies with interest in
those behaviors, or the casinos supporting gambler's anonymous groups. Is it
just me or is something wrong with this picture?
