Gosh, yes, my daughter could be done nursing in 5 minutes and I was worried 
because the books said (in 1984) to nurse for 10 or 15 minutes per side and I 
could not get her to stay on longer. (Poor baby, never really got to comfort 
nurse)  BUT, she looked like a Cabbage Patch Doll (remember those) pudgy 
and lots of rolls and I was changing LOTS of diapers!! LOL!  Luckily, I was in 
Germany, at the time, and had no doctor to just call and ask question after 
question, I just fed what she wanted and things went fine. (Even though I 
thought she might not be feeding long enough, I was never worried about her 
weight.)
