Linda & All,

I'm sure someone will post with and expert opinion.

Personally, I also have fibrocystic breasts. I went from a C cup to an I cup
during pregnancy. I also was terribly uncomfortable and still am as the size
never went down.

I nursed my son for 18 mos - I would have nursed longer had I known more.  I
fully intend to nurse the next child(ren) that I have. ( if I can ever get
pregnant again - but thats another story)

I would tell this mom to take everything with a grain of salt. I don't see
any reason why she cant nurse with the  proper support. (both of the
emotional and cloth variety. :] )
