I've searched the archives and can't find the answer to my question. I
have a mom with a "skin condition" that is not eczema. Prior to this baby,
who is now 4 months old, she took Brewer's Yeast, and it helped her control
skin condition (rash on her arms and legs). I know Brewer's Yeast has been
used to increase milk. She does not need it for this. The archives state
it shouldn't be taken longer than 4 days. Nothing in Hale, or his
website. I can't find any info on its safety. The bottle says you can
take 8-16 tablets daily. Each tablet is 500mg. Does anyone have any info
on dosage, or length of time she could take it? She wants to do this
daily, not only for a few days, and said she would like to take 6-8 pills
if possible. Thanks, Mandy Frost, MS, RD, IBCLC
