Dear Friends:
Nothing is ever purely wrong. There are always shades of grey.
Formula reduces bilirubin? Thank goodness the emergency system works for
babies that need it.
Formula also sets genetically susceptible babies up for chronic disease.
Diabetes. Obesity.
    YUK!
Giving the babies ANY fluid with fat and protein in it would reduce
bilirubin. Other's species milks, for example. Except that other species' milk
kills our babies, unless it is processed in a factory; then it merely makes them
sick.
Does that mean that any other fluid is okay?

    warmly,

Nikki Lee RN, MS, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI
