My favourite topic, too, Pat.  Followed Klaus, Kennell and Anderson, and later of course our own Nils Bergman.  Ashley Montagu's book:  "The importance of touch" I think it was called, addressed the importance of the skin.  It led me to practice skin to skin care with son in 1977.
