I have been following the thread on assymetrical latch with interest and
visiting all of the web sites posted. I have found them very helpful, but my
question is that several of them also show what appears to be an assymetrical
areola. It is very short at the top and long at the bottom. (does that
description make any sense?) Is the areola that is drawn in these pictures
meant to show where the baby's mouth is supposed to go, as opposed to the
natural outline of the areola? Just wondering as I have been looking at my
own areola's, trying to figure this out all morning! :)
TIA for any insights.
