Hi Tina,

 

The info in Hale 04 is the same as the info in Hale 06.    Personally
looking at the high molecular weight and the fact that Hale says it should
be identical to Ofloxacin (which is an L2 and compatible with BF) I'd say
mom could go ahead and BF safely.  But obviously we have to give this info
to Dr and to mom and let her make her own decision.  :-)  We have to weigh
the risks of formula with the 'risks' of breastfeeding while on this med.
