Hi Pat,
I don't have either book but you might want to check Henci Goer's _OB
Myths vs. Research Realities_ and Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better
Birth_ for references on induction. The two effects that I'm thinking
of off the top of my head are increased incidence of jaundice that
"requires" medical treatment and increased cesarean, both of which
directly and indirectly effect breastfeeding.

regards and good luck,
Beth
