For the benefit of those who may not receive this information from other
sources, below is information regarding the draft (United States) Healthy
People 2010 Objectives which are available for public comment through
December 15th, 1998.

To access the objectives and submit comments go to the Healthy People 2010
web site at http://web.health.gov/healthypeople/.

Note that for each chapter you can link to related objectives in other
chapters.  For example, clicking on chapter 2 for
nutrition you can select "Related Objectives" on the lefthand sidebar.

The Healthy People 2010 draft document may also be ordered by calling HHS'
Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion fax-back system at
301-468-3028.
